Ego in spirituality!

What keeps us from reaching a higher consciousness? Just because people know who you are from a tv show or popularity it doesn't measure or show your higher consciousness. In fact doing things repeatedly and expecting spiritual growth is a huge downfall as humans We limit ourselves with EGO.

One thing I have learned is that being sedentary is being comfortable on our path which becomes stagnant over time. We are not spiritually growing.

Little do we know that if we make one small change from what we typically do it could lead to an avalanche of spiritual growth. We have to realize that we can't just spin in our tracks and expect to have things handed to us when we are not putting in the work. So many times people let ego lead and they will steal others work, their ideas and because they are not letting spirit lead them they are lost on someone else's path.

How beautiful is it to know that the work you do is not only rewarding but is a one of kind experience. It doesn't matter how we get there as long we put in the work.

We are giving these lessons for a reason. The lessons make you reflect on yourself and will also repeat when you do not take from the lesson what is needed. Often times ego says "Why does this happen to me?" You are not a tree, Move. If you continue to do the same thing over and over you will get the same results.

So the question posed today is Do I want fame and notoriety out of this? or Do I want actual subsistence? Such as spiritual growth, inner peace, higher consciousness?. When you let go of all of them human taught things aka ego then you start peeling away layers of you and then only can we strip ourselves down and evaluate what we need spiritually. These two can not come hand in hand. We are the masters of our own destiny. May spirit lead you and not ego.
