Channeling!

What most people think of when they hear the term “channeling” is they automatically assume that a spirit of the departed has taken control of a psychic medium’s body, Like Whoopi in ghost. True enough, sure, however channeling comes in many different forms.

There are many types and ways to channel. Automatic writing, divination of any kind (pendulum, Ouija board, etc.), mediumship which includes the medium communicating telepathically or allowing the spirit to speak through them. Side note which we will touch on later, this one includes the channeling of higher beings or spirit directly.

Lets start with channeling of the Essence of the deceased. Our very life force is energy and when we die, that energy is imprinted on this physical realm and can be accessed through higher planes of existence. This also includes automatic writing and the other divination tools. We are allowing that energy force to flow through us and it can come out in the form of writing, speaking, through music, emotions and many other ways. This includes the information that is given by oracle and tarot cards and also includes the information given by spirit through mediumship. You see how important energy work is when you get into all these different types of divination.

Channeling energy is being an open conduit to harness healing energy. Channeling healing energy can be used in many different ways. To clear one’s energy points(chakras), to clear blockages or attachments In the energetic field. Blockages in the energy points can cause physical issues. Harnessing the power to use energy starts within you and can be very beneficial to yourself and others. Conduits typically will channel out of their hands having a dominant giving and receiving hand creating a lot of heat which can physically be felt. The energy is channeled through the crown chakra and pushed down.. While we are called healers, we are just conduits of healing. It’s simple physics.

Now we come to one of the less talked about forms of channeling. That is the channeling of a higher being. If you’re wondering what a higher being is, these are beings of higher consciousness without the limitations of time and space. So these are often described as angels, gods, extra terrestrials, etc. This type of channeling has been traced back since the beginning of mankind. The channeling of ancient text such as the Bible. Prophetic knowledge that has been the inspiration for many books, movies, inventions and so much more. To be able to channel at this energy level, it takes a lot of giving over control and trusting that what you are experiencing is real. While this type of channeling is not talked about in mainstream media, the information received and relayed is very important for mankind.

Even something as simple moving with the flow of music is a form of channeling. Again there are many different kinds and as you advance on your spiritual path you will start to recognize more energies and allow yourself to channel them with more confidence and different outlets.
